'Very demure' TikToker Jools tried to go viral for 11 years - here are some of her old vids

Very hardworking, very motivational, very demure!

TikToker Jools Lebron is the latest and greatest internet icon, after making “demure” the new IT word - But her journey to being a viral star wasn’t all that easy.

While ‘demure’ basically became the new ‘slay' overnight, it took Jools multiple attempts at creating video series before striking viral success

"I’ve been doing this for eleven years and never saw the success I wanted to,” Jools said in an Interview with People

One of Jools' longest running series has been her ‘get ready with me’ series where she takes a “blinker” (long drag of a vape or smoking device) between steps.

She also shared multiple video with tips and tricks on creating sweatproof makeup looks and testing products to see how they held up.

Prior to that, Jools has been a keen collector of Bratz and American Girl Dolls, often sharing her collection on TikTok.

No matter how many videos Jools made or whether they reached large numbers, nothing could stop her from doing what she loved - creating fun and funny asf content.

After grinding out videos on social media for over a decade, Jools finally hit found her viral hitter last month with her “very mindful, very demure” workday makeup look.

Just one month since her video blew up, Jools has gained a whopping 50 million views on that video alone and has built a fan base of over 2.2 million people on TikTok.

Jools is still in shock at how quick her viral moment changed her life. She told People that it feels “absolutely surreal... Having this moment feels insane.”

“I hope that the girls realise we’re really all in this together,” she added. “Trans or not, we are just making jokes and laughing.”

“Being demure together just means we’re having this gorgeous time of appreciation.”

In a video last month, right after her viral blow-up, Jools told her fans to keep an open mind.

“Maybe you should make the videos,” she began. “Because one day, I was playing cashier and making videos on my break and now, I’m flying across [the] country to host events.”

In a follow up video, a teary Jools couldn’t express how grateful she is to have reached the level of success she has.

Very cutesy, very motivating, very demure!

It just goes to show that sticking with your passion, and giving it your best shot will eventually pay off - even if it’s 11 years later.
