NZ swimmer Lewis Clareburt shares BTS inside the Olympic Village and the food hall is LIT

Not me having FOMO!

It's the Paris Olympics 2024, and for the first time EVER, we're getting a behind-the-scenes look from almost every angle, thanks to TikTok.

One Kiwi athlete is making sure we see all the parts of the Olympics we never normally see - and no, we’re not talking about those infamous cardboard beds…

Swimmer Lewis Clareburt has racked up millions of views for his look inside the Olympic Village food hall and even a shave party with his fellow athletes as they get ready to compete.

"Home for the next 3 weeks looks kinda nice," he wrote, filming a bunch of clips around the Olympic Village.

"This is crazy," fellow swimmer Kane Follows said during his first peek at the pool they’re competing in.

He also showed the front of the apartment buildings which are completely decked out with each country's colours and flags.

Treating us to a room tour, Lewis ofc showed off the hard af cardboard beds made with a special 'Paris 2024' duvet cover. He also shared the unnecessary number of power points in his room, tallying up 13 outlets. Who has that many appliances to plug in?!

Giving us a peek into the food hall was one of the most highly requested parts of the Olympic Village that Lewis’ fans wanted to see. What we didn’t expect was just how many dirty dishes would be stacked up - those Olympians can EAT!

There’s a huge spread of food for the Olympians to choose from in a buffet-style setup. If you’re curious about what our Olympians fuel up with, they were set out for some dumplings, prawns, and of course, rounding it off with some salad.

Lewis even took us on a swim. "POV of our Olympic swimmers," he wrote as he chucked a Go-Pro on his head and dove right into the pool for the first time.

As he prepared to compete yesterday, Lewis and the rest of the guys had a bit of a shaving party in their apartment bathroom. "Have you shaved your whole body before?" Lewis asked as he hilariously compared himself to a naked mole rat.

Lewis put his all into competing in the Olympic men's 400m individual medley last night, taking sixth place in the final.
