'He had one job': Fred Again confuses Sydney residents with message written in the sky

“My sky doesn't have this feature." LOL!

People in across the ditch in Sydney have been left confused by a message written in the sky.

Just over an hour ago, a plane took to the sky, spelling out two words. One Reddit user, struggling to decipher it, questioned what they were reading.

“TCN days? TCH days? RCN days???” they wrote.

“Lol, he had 1 job,” one commenter wrote, seemingly referencing Fred.

“My sky doesn't have this feature. Please advise,” joked another.

It turns out the message actually read ‘ten days’ and was a tease for the release of Fred Again’s new album of the same name, which dropped today.

We’re not 100% sure if the stunt was sussed by Fred’s team or just a really devoted (and rich) fan.

More images confirmed the link to the album as fans began posting about the teaser in both Fred Again’s Discord server and Kiwi DJ Messie’s WhatsApp group chat.

Just yesterday, Messie herself was celebrating the release of her good friend and mentor’s album with a cheeky listening party during her set at Snow Machine in Queenstown.

The 10-track album includes bangers like ‘adore u’, ‘places to be’, and ‘peace you need’, along with 10 interludes, taking listeners on a journey through each track.

“My new record is called ‘ten days’. It’s ten songs about 10 days,” Fred said in an Instagram announcement last month.

“There’s been a lot of big, mad, crazy moments in the last year, but basically all of these are about really very small, quiet, intimate moments,” he added.

“Some of them are like the most intensely joyful things I have felt, and some of them are the other side of things.”

Fred is known for his unbelievable talent and creativity, and this album is no exception.

So don’t mind me, I’ll be spending the weekend running this back-to-back.
