We are distraught! Love Island UK’s Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury have called it quits after five years together and fans already believe they know why.
The news was announced on Molly’s Instagram story this morning where she wrote: “Never in a million years did I think I'd ever have to write this.”
“After five years of being together, I never imagined our story would end, especially not this way.”
“I am extremely upset to announce that mine and Tommy's relationship has come to an end,” she added.

Tommy, on the other hand, shared a shorter message to fans, asking for privacy while they both navigate the split.

Fans have been reacting with their own heartbreak and speculation, decoding Molly saying she never thought their story would end “this way” in her announcement.
“Molly-Mae what??? Did Tommy cheat?” one person asked.
“To me personally, this reads like this isn’t on Molly’s terms and something major has happened. No nod to Tommy about mutual respect, which indicates that they’ve split on bad terms 😢,” said another fan on X. “If he’s cheated, girllll, you deserve BETTER!”
A third added: “Molly-Mae didn’t even do the “we’re going to remain friends” nonsense. Oh, Tommy did a number on her.”
Someone else believed the writing was on the wall for YEARS.
“People shocked at Tommy and Molly-Mae breaking up like that man was NOT present for her during her pregnancy at ALL!!! He was so focused on boxing that he ended up in clubs with girls over him,” they wrote.
When Molly was heavily pregnant with the couple’s daughter Bambi in 2022, Tommy was spending huge amounts of time away from home on bootcamps preparing for fights.
“People have these dream pregnancies where they’re always with their husbands doing baby shopping and cute things, and me and Tommy literally just communicate through FaceTime,” Molly said on her socials at the time.
“Because he’s been away so much, he sometimes forgets. I’m like, ‘You do understand I’m two months away… we’re going to have a child.’”
And it wasn’t the first or only time Tommy had been accused of flirty behaviour.
Remember back in November last year, there was speculation the two reality stars had broken up after Molly-Mae was spotted without her engagement ring in multiple Insta posts?
Tommy was spotted partying in nightclubs and looking a little too familiar with a mystery girl, while Molly stayed home.
