We made Dan cry for the first time in 10 years thanks to this song

This week, we made it our mission to make Dan cry and it's very fair to say we succeeded.

This week, Clint and Meg made it their mission to make Dan cry.

It could be because looking at the stats, they were averaging 2.1 cries per week and wanted to bump up Dan's numbers to match or, they're being good friends who want to see their mate share his emotions and shed that weight from his shoulders.

We'll let you pick...

After speaking with Dan's mum and wife, Clint and Meg wrote an original song, making it as sad as possible to try and just a single tear from Dan.

The pair even asked Lewis Capaldi, the king of making people cry, even children with his 'Wish You The Best' Music video, if he had any tips on getting people to cry.

"I always go back to death. Death is the number one thing," he said. "Focus on death, it might get pretty real when you debut it but I think it's important, berevement is where the bag is."

After working away at the song for days, Clint and Meg found the perfect thing to write their song about.

"This song is from the perspective of your childhood toy, Pig," said Meg.

"Pig has seen you grow up to become the man you are now and is happy to sit on the sidelines and isn't upset that you don't play with him as much as you use to."

Complete with the name "A Dusty Shelf and Me", listen to the full song above and see if they were able to succeed in making Dan cry.
