We auditioned for a musical to see who's the BEST singer

After each auditioning for Matilda The Musical, it's time to find out who's the best singer on the show!

It's time to settle this once and for all.... who's OFFICIALLY the best singer on The Edge Breakfast?

We all know Dan can sing, but after Yas made the bold claim that she in fact was the best singer on the show, Dan decided to not only make her prove it, but the whole team.

Could they have each just sung a song in the studio to decide? yeah, but that wouldn't have made that great of a video (and tbh I'm pretty sure Dan was just looking for another excuse to perform on a stage.)

Instead, Dan organised for them each to audition in front of the 'Matilda The Musical' directors, Grant Meese, and Hamish Mouat.

Yas was the first to audition, taking on Celine Dion in a bold attempt to prove her singing abilities. Taking another approach, Producer Brook went acapella, leaving his voice alone to do the speaking (or in the case, singing) for him.

"I have nothing to lose," Meg admitted before singing 'Part of Your World' from The Little Mermaid, using the opportunity to try and put her past singing bans on the show away forever.

Clint channelled his inner Hugh Jackman for a performance he hoped would show why he deserved to place higher than 8th place on NZ Idol leaving Dan as the lucky last auditionee to sing it out for the title of The Edge BESTest singer...

The directors has strong opinions about each of the performances but there was ONE singer who stood out above the rest as the best (there was also one who stood out as the worst but we won't talk about that.)
