This popular type of food may be messing up your man's bedroom game

Bit of a vibe killer tbh

There’s nothing like chowing down on a spicy curry after a big night or lathering some wings in hot sauce at the BBQ, but a new study says spicy food could cause guys some major issues in the bedroom.

The University of South China found that “eating spicy food more than 3 times a week was linked to a higher risk of ED (erectile dysfunction)”.

The same research also found that those who indulged in spicier food were more “irritable” and “prone to quarrels and disharmonious family relations” So maybe you can blame your bf’s bad mood on a spicy ramen he ate 3 weeks ago?

Other triggers for ED include poor lifestyle choices such as alcohol, drug abuse, smoking and obesity - but those ones are less surprising.

ED can also be a sign of a major health issue so if symptoms persist, men are advised to visit the doctor ASAP.

But before you force your bf to boycott a hot lamb vindaloo altogether, there’s been some counter-evidence in the Journal of ‘Physiology & Behaviour’, which found guys who enjoyed a bit of spice in their diet had higher testosterone levels.

So what food can men indulge in without putting their little man downstairs out of work? Web M.D curated a specific list for those wanting to prevent the symptoms of ED. It includes watermelon which can also improve sex drive, oysters which can boost testosterone levels and garlic which can improve blood flow, even in the nether regions.

Getting in a solid amount of fruit and veg never hurts the manhood either, so guys, dig in!

So if your mans bedroom game is feeling a little....flimsy, they may want to investigate their diet a little closer... or at the very least, they can blame it on the takeaways.
