Can't afford a Dyson Airwrap? Neither, but Kmart just dropped a dupe that might be just as good

“I paused the video. Ordered it online and finished off the video. Sold.”

Gals, Kmart's done it again - this time producing a dupe of one of the most hyped hair stylers of all time, for a fraction of the price.

We all know the Dyson Airwrap costs big bucks - it currently retails at a whopping $849 - but we all want that big bouncy blowout we've been seeing all over our TikTok FYP.

Even the Shark FlexStyle, which is significantly cheaper, is still going for at least $350. And in this cozzie livs crisis? No can do.

But whenever an overpriced product hits the market, you know Kmart is working tirelessly behind the scenes to create a cheaper, and sometimes superior product.

Kmart's brand Anko has just released their 'Air Styler' - how do they get away with it?! - and it's only $79… and already sold out.

Australian TikToker Brit (@britlea95) amassed nearly 1 million views on her review of the dupe and the results have us SHOOKETH.

One user noted: “This actually looks like it curls even better than the Dyson!!”

“Running to Kmart," another said.

Critics of the Dyson and Shark stylers claim that despite the epic tech, it's hard to get curls to hold. In the name of science, Brit posted an update a couple of hours later to show how her style held up, and it was pretty impressive.

One commenter reacted simply with: “I paused the video. Ordered it online from Kmart and finished off the video. Sold”

And another added: “Consider me influenced.”

The Kmart Air Styler has many of the usual features of the Dyson Airwrap - a left and right side curler, 32mm brush and hairdryer nozzle.

With all the heat surrounding affordable dupes atm, it seems this gem is no exception.

To be sure though, we reckon we'll probably have to get our mitts on it ourselves. Can anyone put a call into Kmart about a restock?
