Screw being an adult, we want to jump on the 'Magic at Sea' Disney Cruise coming to NZ

Where are all my fellow Disney kids at?

For the first time ever, Disney Cruise Line is coming to New Zealand and our inner child can’t handle this news, no seriously, we are actually screaming!

Disney announced at its D23 Expo over the weekend that ‘Disney Magic at Sea’ is bringing the wonderful world of Disney to our shores, where you can experience all of the iconic Disney, Marvel, Pixar and Star Wars characters in one go - Yes fkn, please!

Departing from Auckland in late 2023, the full-on experience will take you on the ultimate Disney adventure.

The sail will offer some pretty epic-sounding experiences including “broadway-quality shows”, themed dining experiences including a Princess Tiana-themed restaurant, and the immersive Animator’s Palate.

All the kid-ults will also have their own exclusive adults-only spots to sit back and relax at Quiet Cove Pool, as well as get into full holiday mode at Senses Spa & Salon.

Did someone say a pamper day? I’m there!

Josh D'Amaro, Chairman, Disney Parks, Experiences and Products says, “we are so excited to bring the magic of a Disney cruise vacation close to home for guests in Australia and New Zealand.”

“On these limited-time sailings, the ship is the destination, and our amazing Disney Cruise Line crew can’t wait to welcome guests on board as they are immersed in their favourite stories.”

There are plenty of dates to choose from, with the 11-deck cruise set to sail on November 21st, 25th, 28th, as well as December 1st and 4th of 2023.

As you can imagine, prices are a tad expenny, starting at about $1245 NZD for three nights for an inside stateroom and going up to $2800 NZD for the concierge stateroom with verandah.

Tickets go on sale on September 29th 2022, so you better grab all your fellow Disney lovers quick!
