Kiwi singer Riiki Reid has just released new music and we were treated to not one but TWO live performances right here at The Edge HQ.
Riiki released her third EP ‘SKIN’ earlier this month. In it are three beautiful tunes ‘Home With Me’, ‘Like You’ and, of course, ‘Skin’.
“This song is actually a song that I wrote initially in 2017 when I was a high school student,” she told Edge Nights.
“I left it and went through a big heartbreak in 2020 and ended up revisiting the idea and took little parts of it to create this new version,” she added.
Performing a live acoustic rendition of her title track, Riiki blew us away with her incredible vocals and undeniable talent.
She also nailed a flawless cover of Dua Lipa’s latest track ‘Training Season’.

Riiki has just come off the back of performing a set at Jim Beam Home Grown and she went all out with backup dancers and a full band - the whole lot!
It’s safe to say she’s killing it in the Kiwi music scene. With producing, directing videos, singing and writing all under her belt it’s not hard to see why.
